New podcast episode and shutting down our SaaS product
Hey all,
I have another short newsletter for this week too.
Just wanted to share 3 updates:
Update 1:
This week’s new episode features Marc Cohen, a solo partner and investor at Unbundled VC, typically investing in early-stage startups mainly in digital tech, and e-commerce £50k-£200k checks.
In this conversation, you will learn about:
►The 3 questions to assess great founders
► Marc's unique style of building in public as a VC
►How building in public cultivates a great network of founders

Update 2:
Unfortunately, we had to shut down my SaaS startup: LeaderBird. Here’s the full story.
It's a bummer we can't continue on this path but to be honest, we saw the writing on the wall since many major Twitter-based tools started getting affected in the recent weeks. LeaderBird was a memorable experience for us as bootstrapped founders and a big lesson is to avoid platform risks whenever possible (building on top of other platforms like Twitter).
Personally to me this is the 2nd SaaS product launch of the year. Although neither of my two products became great successes, I believe my learnings are compounding and I feel a deep sense of fulfillment about the journey. For that, I’m super grateful!
Update 3:
BIPF3 cohort applications are coming in. Had a bunch of amazing interviews and calls with potential Fellows (around the world) and that energized me so far. The cohort starts on Aug 7 and if you’re interested, I’d LOVE to get a chance to talk to you 1:1 and help you make the decision. We have scholarships too. Apply here: buildinpublicfellowship.com
