Closed mouths don’t get fed 🤭
Hey friends,
If you know me or were part of any of previous cohorts, you know one of my favorite catchphrases is this:
“Closed mouths don’t get fed”
Heck, 80% of the world who want to help you can’t help you if you don’t send a nudge or two their way
Why? not because they hate you or they are lazy
They are just busy.. dealing with their own life and a million other priorities
So asking (without expectations) and taking an odd rejection here and there with your chin up is a billion dollar skillset in my view
Okay, why am I sharing this deeply out of context philosophical insight today?
As you may have guessed it, I do have an ask today.
After running 10 cohorts across various companies (On Deck, Day One and my own BIPF), I’m honored to share that I am now in charge of running a brand new global founder community and program at Paddle (a fintech unicorn).
This is a bit of a dream role for me as I had plans to do an AI cohort for a long while and now I get to build and shape it within a fast-growing brand like Paddle (which has 4,000+ startups and founders as customers)
And today, we’re live on Product Hunt. Here’s the launch page.
ASK:
Would love your support in the form of an upvote (we need 25 new votes to break into top 10) and/or comments or questions. Comments and questions are a FANTASTIC way to soar higher the leaderboard as PH algorithm loves those (just like Linkedin)
Anyway, thanks for your support as always. And if you are building an AI-powered startup, please consider APPLYING. It’s FREE to attend and applications close soon.
Once, here’s the PH post where you’ll find more info.
PS: In case some of you missed my super entertaining and serendipitous story of “how I landed a dream role at Paddle”, here’s the quick read. Key lesson from that expereince? Same as today’s point: shoot your shot and put your ask in the Universe because.. closed mouths don’t get fed.
