3 simple but non-obvious tips to winning #1 position on Product Hunt 👀
Last week was incredible in many ways. Do you remember Studio AI? The no-code + AI tool I hunted on Product Hunt? Well, they went from being #3 at the start of the day to eventually clinching #1 Product of the Day. And #1 Product of the Week as well 🤯
I like to take full credit and bask in glory but really it was hours of community-centric efforts by the Studio AI team who deeply understood the game. I asked them what their playbook consisted and here’s the answer:
The secret in 3 simple tips:
To be detached from the outcome and enjoy the journey
To reply and react to every. single. comment. (because if someone out there takes 10 seconds to leave a thoughtful comment or questions, you better return the favor as a founder)
To keep sharing the small wins, helpful comments and milestones (screenshots) throughout the day on the socials (by the founder and others on the team)
Sounds simple right? Yeah. Committing to this strategy is the hard part.
